Profile Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative video editor to join our team. As a creative video editor, you will be responsible for bringing raw footage to life through editing, colour grading, sound design and other post-production techniques. You will also be working closely with our social media team to deliver high-quality videos that align with our branding and messaging.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the creative team to understand the creative direction for each video project.

  • Edit raw footage, along with the stock footage into compelling and visually stunning videos.

  • Colour-grade footage to enhance the mood and tone of the video, keeping branding guidelines in mind.

  • Add sound effects and music to create an immersive audio experience.

  • Collaborate with the social media team on a regular basis to develop reels/ short videos for all our social media platforms for engagement and visibility of our brand.

  • Collaborate with the motion graphics team to incorporate visual effects and animations whenever required.

  • Work with the supervisor/ reporting manager to ensure that project deadlines are met and delivered on time.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software to continually improve your skills and expertise.


Our Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in video editing with versatile industries

  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects etc.

  • Proficiency in colour grading and sound design.

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, technical proficiency, shot selection and attention to detail

  • Basic knowledge of camera handling and motion graphics is a plus

  • Basic communication and excellent coordination/ collaboration skills

  • A passion for storytelling

  • A team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and can multitask

  • Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field (preferred)

Additional Key Points:

  • We have 5 days of working structure, with a working day on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays.

  • We have flexible work timings, as long as you are working 8 hours in a day. The same can be discussed during your interview as you will be working closely with the Director.

  • During urgent project deliveries, the video editor is expected to work for extra hours if and when required.

  • You can avail paid annual leaves (i.e. 15 days in a year) after completing your probation period of 6 months.

Founded by Mr Prabal Mahto, a renowned former journalist; he continues to silently culminate the voices of impoverished communities for their rights.
